Q.Should I Remove A Dead Trunk On A Braided Ficus?
Hi. My braided ficus has four trunks, and one of them is dead – I didn’t notice it when I brought her home. I’ve had her for over a year, and she’s doing fine. Should I remove it or leave it? There is no growth – no branches on it – just a trunk. Thanks!

At this point, if you are leaving it for aesthetics, it won't hurt to do so. At some point, it will be smaller than the other branches in the braid, so at some point it will look a bit odd next to the others. You may opt for cutting it once it becomes unsightly.
The choice is yours!
