Q.Prune squash vines

Should I prune my squash vines? Will it increase production?

While it's okay to prune some, you should only try to remove the growing tips so as not to leave large wounds that may draw squash pests and diseases. It is true that pinching off the tips of squash runners (after fruits have started to form) will allow the plants to spend more energy producing squash.
