Should I pinch the top of the plant so if will branch out

Instead of one stalk, will the bay leaf plant branch out to be fuller if I pinch off the top of the plant?

Yes, you can prune it back to encourage a bushier growing pattern.

Do not cut more than 1/3 of the plant back at a time.
