Q.Should I Pick All My Rhubarb Before Mulching For The Winter Or Do I Leave It As Is And Mulch Around It?

I live in northern Connecticut and just planted the rhubarb a year ago. It has never been harvested but I lost a few plants over last winter.

No, you will want to stop picking several weeks before winter weather. This will give the plant a chance to store energy for the winter. These articles will help:
