Zone Norfolk | lin.ottoway added on May 21, 2015 | Answered

Should I nip out the growing shoot on my cosmos grown from seed? I want to know how to nip out the growing tip of cosmos I have grown from seed or should I let them just grow?

I also start Cosmos from seed. I personally just allow them to grow and bloom without any pinching or cutting back.

I do dead head the spent blossoms though, as this will insure a healthy plant and more blossoms.
