Should I Cut Or Not The Banana Leave That Is On The Way Of Bananas’

I have bananas’ stalk laying on the banana leave. Should I cut that leave to let the stalk grow down instead of horizontal?

I would simply push the bunch off of the leaf. That way, you do not have to cut anything. Really, you don't want to cut off anything that is still green.
