Q.Should I Cover My Roses Because The Leaves Are Trimmed In Brown?

We live in Northern California and have had temperatures of 100-104 degrees for 3 to 4 weeks straight (with 1 week in the 90’s). I was wondering if they should be covered somehow during times of extreme heat. Please let me know. Thank you, Barbara Laine

A shade cloth during the hottest portions of the day can help some, but it could be an infection of sorts from overwatering, as well! Unfortunately, your photos did not come through. I am unable to see issue at hand.
