Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comCan I burn black knot fungus infected limbs in warm weather without risking the spread of spores? Also, between burning and burying, is one more effective or otherwise better practice than the other? I live on the edge of a large wooded area, and my burn area is about 25 feet from any trees.

It is best to prune black knot fungus when the tree is dormant, so you would be burning the branches in winter. Since you are past winter, you could bury the pruned limbs.
