Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have an indoor small foxtail asparagus fern….purchased last August. Why do the new shoots grow 12-16 inches (the plant is only 8-10 inches tall) and then they turn brown and die? What am I doing wrong? New shoots continue to grow but die. I use a water meter for watering…add water when on the dry side.

This typically happens when the plant is not getting enough light. If you can, move it to a brighter location, but remember that the light needs to be filtered. If this is not possible, try to get supplemental light, like a florescent light, near it.
