Q.Ship Roots From The US To Canada

I want to ship the bare root of a plant to my friend in Canada. What is involved? Do I need special permission from Canada. Thank you for your help

Just give your carrier a call, be it the post office or a shipping service. Certain species considered invasive may not be allowed. Also, you may need to make sure no soil is attached, so as not to transport bugs, etc. These articles should help:
