Shade Tree Damage

Very large shade tree on front lawn damaged in storm. The large main branch broke but is still intact. The back part of tree has no buds or leaves and front part of tree only has produced leaves. We have pruned weight off of area. A georgeous tree, want desperately to save. Can you help?
