shade tolerant and water erosion resistant ground cover

Question

My home is flanked on two sides by pine trees. On one side, I have a lot of water erosion from the home above me. (4ft elevation?) What kind of ground cover will grow in those conditions? Everytime it rains, the pine mulch is washed toward the house and collects at my front stoop. Can you help, please? Thanks so much!
