Q.Several Trees Look Dead

I have several trees in the garden that have not leafed out they look dead but some have green under the stems should l leave them for a season or cut them back now?

Unfortunately, your photos did not come through. Each tree species will have its own care routine. Pruning will be done according to the exact tree that they are.

Likely, if there is some sign of life, they can come back. Just leave it for now. If nothing happens by next dormancy, then cutting it will be appropriate. If new growth does come out before then, I would recommend cutting anything that is completely dead, still.
