Q.Seeking advice on my Mums magnolia tree that has been in a pot for 15+ years and we have just put in the ground?

Zone Cardiff | Anonymous added on May 14, 2020 | Answered

There are currently small green leaves sprouting but the tree is generally bare. Should we be worried and how long will it take to flourish? Any advice on how to care for it? I am very new to gardening and know nothing.

The new leaves are a good sign. It may take a while for the tree to adapt to its new home, but if you follow the advice in this article, it should be fine: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/trees/magnolia/magnolia-tree-care.htm
