seeds

When plants go to seed, do you cut them off at top and dry them or do you plant them right away (such as lettuce, bok choy, carrots)? Do you cut the limb down at the bottom, will it grow another or do you pull it out?

It’s usualy better to let the seedpods dry on the plant first. Once they turn brown, you can cut them and gently shake the seeds ut intoa papper bag or envelope for storing until next planting season. If you are interested n growing a late season garden, you can so ahead and sow the seeds.
