Q.

seedling dormancy

Zone Maryfield Saskatchewan | Anonymous added on March 4, 2018 | Answered

I planted some apricot seeds in pots and have been growing them through the winter. Do they need a period of dormancy or can I just plant them out in the spring?

Yes, the seeds or pits need a 60 day period of cold stratification.
