Seed Pods

Question

My one desert rose has about 20 seed pods on it. I have never seen that many. What causes the plant to keep growing them one on top of another?

This can be attributed to good health, mostly. If the plant looks sick, then it can be a last-ditch effort to reproduce before dying off. It just really depends on how the plant looks while it is exhibiting this behavior.
