Seed Mud Balls

Seed mud balls recipe. Cannot find pottery clay mix at local stores. They only have plaster of paris or paper mache powder mix. Would these workl

Please advise asap as we are holding a workshop to construct the seed balls this week.

Plaster of paris and paper mache will not work. But, you can use the cheap, non-clumping kitty litter and I mean look for the cheapest kind. It is typically made of clay and only clay. You can use it as is (the balls will look a little chunky but they will still work) or you can send it through a blender or food processor to make it feel more like the pottery clay dry mix.
