Seed Dispersal

Cyclamen coum and Cyclamen hederifolium: I have noticed that seedlings of both these plants appear at some distance, sometimes up to 3 metres away from the parent plants. How does this come about?

They are capable of slowly spreading by seed and tubers to form colonies but are not aggressive.
