Q.Schefflera plant

Zone 72210 | kb55 added on June 7, 2018 | Answered

I have a schefflera plant that has grown top heavy. We almost lost it this winter but now it is coming back with a large puff at the very top and a couple of other shoots on the long tall stalk.

Is it possible to cut the top off an replant it? If so, what should I do with the new shoots that are coming out?

If not, how can I get this plant to look pretty again? I have had this plant for over twenty years and do not want to lose it.

Thank you,

Kay Butler
