schefflera

My schefflera plant keeps getting black leaves and then they fall off. What is wrong and what do I do about it? Thank you for your help.

This is a sign of overwatering. Back off on the water and allow the plant to dry out some. You may also want to check the plant for signs of root rot. This article will help with that: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/disease/treating-root-rot-gardening-tips-for-housplants.htm [1]
