Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI purchased a Radermachera (China doll) about a week ago. I’ve watered the plant once since I’ve had it (one week). I understand that the plant should not be drowned in water, its soil should be dry to the touch. I also know that my plant should have indirect light. I am totally baffled to what that means. Does it mean that the plant should be right next to a window? I have fallen in love with the China doll (Radermachera). I had this type of plant before and I was not able to keep the plant healthy.

Indirect light means simply bright light that is not directly in the sunlight. In other words, locate it in or near a window (or room) that receives plenty of light but is not direct sunlight.
