Saving coffee grounds for soil enrichment – specifically azaleas and hydrangeas

I have saved several days of coffee grounds, but they are molding on the surface already…..can I still put them out on the soil around my azaleas?

I’m sorry to inform you that the acid in coffee leaches into the water when it is brewed. Your coffee grounds are a great addition to your compost heap. Try an organic soil acidifier/fertilizer like Hollytone.
