sago trees have green on the bark

Sago trees have green on the bark. Is that normal? I am taking care of 2 sago trees in my yard. They look good but for the light green on the bark.

It is very difficult to determine what may be on your Sago Palms from this description.
I have listed links for you that will help you determine if this is a fungus and what coarse you will need to take.
