Sago palms

How do you tell a male from a female? I have two 10 year old plants and they look identical. They get morning sun filtered through a couple of live oaks.

Thanks, Ken

The only way you can really determine the sex of your sago palm is if it has ever shown its reproductive cones. Female flowering sago palms produce a round, fuzzy mass that is golden in color and males produce a long, golden cone-like structure.
