My sago palm has some green leaves but center is brown. Is it dead?

The center of the plant could just be overly dry, or it may have a fungus. You can trim of any brown/dead growth to help make way for newer growth but leave any growth that is still green. Also, green growth indicates that the plant is still living. You may also want to check that the soil is not too dry (if it is, give the plant a good soaking) or too wet (which can spawn fungal issues, let it dry some). Treating the plant with Neem oil may help as well if any fungal problems or insect pests are responsible.
