Q.Sago Palms

Anonymous added on May 1, 2014 | Answered

My sago palm was severely damaged during freezing weather. I have removed all damaged stems. It has started growing pups, which I have removed. Question – there is now a white egg-shaped dome at the top of the palm that keeps growing larger. What is it and should I do something else to the palm?

No worries, that is simply the flower. Each is different depending on whether you have a male or female. This article will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/trees/sago-palm/sago-palms-flower.htm
