Sago Palms

There are tiny yellow, round spots on our sago plam leaves. What are they and what should we do? Thanks.

It is likely a fungus. There are several that can create those yellow spots. Treat the plant with a fungicide. I like neem oil, as it treats both fungus and pests and is safe for people and pets. This article has more information on it: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/problems/pests/neem-oil-uses.htm [1] If the spots are more bump-like and tan in color, then your plant may have scale. Try pruning out the discolored leaves. Neem oil is also effective treatment for the scale issue.
