Question

Does only a female sago put grow “pups” or does either sex do that? Does the male sago grow while it has the seed come in the middle? If not, when does it start growing new leaves again? Thanks,

Any Sago Palm will send out pups.
Yes, your Palm is still growing, it's energy is just going to flower formation.
