Just put my sago palm outdoors. The leaves were getting yellowish looking. This morning I found three fronds that look as though they were eaten off at the base of the stem, almost like a cutworm would do.

Rats are one possible culprit - they are known to sever the petioles of sago palm leaves. For more information, please visit the following link:
