Q.Sago Palm
I have a large sago palm in my yard that has not generated branches for over a year. There are a large number of round pods (like large acorns) on top where the branches would come through. The current branches are green and yellow. Is the palm dead or should I be doing something to assist it?

It sounds as if your sago may be flowering. You can remove the flowering growth without harming the plant, as well as the yellowing growth (but leave the green). It should begin new growth soon thereafter.
