Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have a large Sago Palm in a pot that takes up a lot of space in the greenhouse I store it in over the winter. I thought I could save a lot of space if I pull up the fronds and wrap deer netting around them. (I got the idea when watching what they do at Christmas tree lots..) Will this hurt the plant? Will it go back to the normal shape after I take the net off in the spring?

This plant is not meant to enter a dormancy, and is not really suited for this type of treatment. Being large fronds, I would be afraid of mold or fungus setting in. It would be best not to do this, in my opinion.
