A huge ball has grown in the middle and the fronds are turning yellow. Should I cut off fronds?

There are several reasons for yellowing fronds on a sago palm, overwatering being the most common. As for the huge ball, it sounds as if your sago is trying to bloom, which is quite rare and exciting!
