Sago Palm

Old beautiful Sago growing close to house. Can I prop a two by four between wall and sago to push it out? Will it hurt the Sago?

This is a poor solution to the bigger issue of a Palm planted to close to a house.

Transplanting the palm may be the best way to remedy this situation.
