Q.safe flowers for pets

Zone DH3 2BE | Michelle Armstrong added on May 11, 2017 | Answered

We are planting flowers in our borders and I am trying to find out what plants are safe if eaten by our dog. Most plants I can get this information on say they are toxic and may cause sickness and diarrhoea but is there any plants we should avoid that may cause severe reactions and even death?
We have a variety of alpines and perennials. Sweet william, fuchsias and heucheras at the moment.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you
