Q.Rue leaves yellowing

Anonymous added on August 12, 2015 | Answered

I bought a Rue plant, perhaps two months ago. It is planted in a terracotta pot of the front porch in full sun. I’ve noticed over the last two weeks that the lovely blue green hue of its bottom leaves are yellowing. Is this normal? Are parts dying off to give way to new growth? There are some small amounts of growth coming up from underneath. Does it need a bit of a prune? I haven’t been able to find much information online, and nothing that mentions yellowing leaves. Thank you so much for your time.
