rubber tree

My rubber tree leaves look as if they are being eaten by some kind of insect. I removed what looked like a cocoon attached to the underside of one of the leaves a few weeks ago, have yet to see any actual critters, but damage still continues. What should I do or look closer at?

This could be the Edwards wasp moth, which attacks rubber trees:

In any case, checking the plant frequently and removing any cocoons or any leaves with visible eggs will help you control the infestation.
