Q.Rubber Plant Outdoors in Pot
I have been given a beautiful variegated leaf rubber plant. I would like to keep it out on my lanaii. Possible? Or not advised? It also needs repotting. Is it okay now (Sept. /Florida)? Potting mix or potting soil?

These plants can thrive outdoors but are usually hardy only in Zones 10-11. I would recommend keeping setting it out each spring/summer and bringing it indoors in late fall for overwintering. As for repotting, I would move up one pot size, but no more than two. You can use regular potting soil, as long as it's well-draining. I would also root prune the tree while repotting.
