I HAVE 2 RED RHUBARB PLANTS. THEY HAVE HUNDRED OF STEMS ON EACH PLANT, BUT THE STEMS STAY LIKE PENCILS THEY NEVER GET LARGER. WHAT CAUSES THAT??????
