This week I noticed that the leaves of one of my rose bushes are sticky and wet looking. The other rose bush has small green “things” on the roses themselves. Are these rose bushes diseased? If so, what can I do?

Your rosebushes appear to be under attack by aphids and quite a few of them too. I would recommend spraying them with a good insecticide that states that it will kill aphids. You will likely have to spray them a couple times when under heavy attack. Check your other plants, shrubs and trees as well, if they too are under attack by the aphids you will want to spray them as well. Otherwise it will be a long sustained battle to get rid of the pests.
