Roses

I always have a problem keeping my Roses alive, I live in Spain. I bought a Rose the other month, I have it in the same pot that it came with, I intend to transfer it into a bigger pot as it grows. I don’t really want to put it onto my land. Would it be ok by doing this? Thanks in advance

Yes it is okay to keep them in a pot but you do need to keep transplanting it into bigger containers at least every two years. Wait too long and it will become root bound and die. Also make sure the pots used have drainage holes in them or the root zone will stay wet and cause root rot which will also kill the rosebush. Water the rosebush once in a while with some water that has a product called Super Thrive in the water. This will help them deal with any shocks, stresses, etc.. I highly recommend using it each time the bush is transplanted into a new and bigger pot.
