Rose seeds

When I get my seeds I should put them through a stratification period. Does that mean I should put them in a wet paper towel and put them in a plastic bag and seal and put it in the refrigerator? Please tell me how to stratify my seeds.

The process you describe will work great for rose seed stratification. After you seal them in the bag, just keep them in the refrigerator for six to ten weeks. Make sure they do not freeze or dry out.

Another option is to plant them in soil and then chill the soil as described here:
