Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comRose of Sharon flowers wilt shortly after blooming, we have a lot of buds but all flower’s wilt within a couple of day’s. We had a very WET May and now temp’s in the 90’s. Last yr flowers were plentiful and had no problem. I cut back some this winter, leave’s look ok had some Japanese Beatle start on leaves but sprayed with Permethrin and they are gone?

You could try a fertilizer high in phosphorus( the P in NPK). This article may help as hibiscus is the perennial version of Rose of Sharon
