Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have a lovely purple rose bush, and it is flowering well. The problem is, the buds sort of open, but then they just look like they are withering. Can you give me any idea what the problem could be?
Regards
brenda

It could be that you have thrips attacking your rosebushes blooms. They are small and hard to spot but will cause this type of thing to happen. They can be equally tough to get rid off once they have set up shot in your rose beds.
