Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comIs it at all possible to at least slightly change color or a rose mallow? I recently bought – what looked like a lighter color reddish color flower from the info/picture on the planter. But they are coming out a deep red. Both plants are very healthy but I really wanted a lighter color, is there any way I can at least lighten the color at all? Like a hydrangea? Thank you, Dee.

The color may have intensified because of the temperature, sunlight or nutriton and might become lighter like you hoped. This article explains:
