Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comMy Dad planted a rose bush for me years ago. He has since passed away. I am in the process of selling my home and would like to split this rose bush between my children and myself to remember my Dad. How can I do this without destroying the rose bush? They live in upstate Ny and I will be taking mine to Texas.

Maybe someone will provide you with expert advise but because of the importance of this rose to your heart (and the move to a very different climate), I would recommend you join the Rose Society online, even if for a brief time. When you join, you can ask questions. Since they are a national organization, they should be able to consult with both “ends” of this move.
Welcome to Texas!!!! The link below can get you to their organization.
