My Champagne rose bush is producing pink roses. Why?

Champagne is noted as being a yellow blend blooming rosebush. Therefore the more pink blooms may be due to climatic conditions where you live or may be due to the fertilizer used to feed your rosebushes. I have had years where a particular rosebush will put forth blooms that are way out of the norm for that rosebush and yet put forth a few that are true to color and form. It can be just a mother natures kitchen thing. In some cases the rosebush is a grafted rosebush and the upper part that we bought the rosebush for dies, then the hardy root stock rosebush takes over. Usually if this happens the growth rate and shape of the overall bush changes and the form of the blooms changes as well.
