Q.root system
We live in MO and our magnolia is doing great. Faces west in a nook by house. How large is root system? Do we need to move away from house?

Magnolia has a very wide spread out root system. It is not generally an invasive root system but could invade a weak foundation.
Moving an established Magnolia can be difficult and may not be successful. The root system can be 4 times the canopy of the tree.
