Root Bound Spider Plant

I have had a Spider Plant for over 20 yrs. The pot it is in is very large so I don't want to repot the plant. What other options do I have?

Since you do not want to repot the plant, I would suggest that you temporarily remove the spider plant from the pot and divide it. This way you can still keep a majority of the plant in the pot it is currently in and have an extra plant to put in a new pot that you can keep or give away to a friend.
