Rolling A Recently Reseeded Lawn.

Question

I reseeded the lawn in March and I am pleased to say that I have had a reasonable result. I did roll the area before seeding but I am disappointed in that there are quite a few bumpy areas. Is the grass to new to roll? I think I missed a trick in not rolling as soon as the seed was laid? Many thanks Derek Smith

Unfortunately, this can happen when the soil settles into pockets, or after a rain. This can still be corrected. These articles will help:
